jackmotoI’ve announced numerous Outdoor Nationals and International Motocross events.  I was the original National Arenacross announcer and have announced hundreds of amateur motocross events.

Therefore, it was only natural that when I opened my Sports Mental Training practice in 1988 my very first client was a young motocross racer named Charlie Bogard.  My practice  has grown from there, because I truly understand the motocross racer and his/her problems.

As I mentioned above, perhaps the most common problem is the failure to perform as well in a race as in practice.

Other common problems include the fear of the “Big Race”. The rider typically does well in his local events, but gets far too nervous at the “Nationals”.

The rider who has experienced a serious crash frequently has a fear of wrecking again and being suffering another injury.  With young amateur riders the fear of crashing and being injured may be present without being preceded by an injury.

Full gates are quiet often a fear producer for amateur racers.  This fear is often accompanied by a fear of a crowded first turn.  Bad starts are frequently the result of this fear.

Fears of doing big jumps are another common problem.

Sometimes a rider is intimidated by another rider or group of riders.

Being too slow to make a pass is usually the result of a fear.

The fear of not pleasing a parent or sponsor is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Nervousness is a representation of fear, but perhaps not recognized as such.

All of the above were once considered difficult if not impossible to correct, because no sure-fire remedy existed.  That’s the way it was before I came on the scene. That’s not the case  - not anymore.

I have developed a dependable set of techniques that remove all negative programming, eliminate self-defeating thoughts, and totally remove negative emotions that cause these problems.   Then, I build within the racer self-confidence, self-esteem and the ability to totally focus. The athlete is elevated to his/her highest performance level in an amazingly short period of time.  That level is usually far higher than the racer ever thought possible.  These techniques are so good I have named them Motocross Mind Magic TM.

There is no longer a question mark.  My techniques work every time.

Spend a few hours with me and you will be racing at your

highest possible level.

Just read this testimonial:

Jack, I brought Kacey in to see you a few weeks ago after Chad Cook recommended you.

Kacey After your first visit with her I was very impressed. The next morning she stated that she had slept that night better then she could ever remember sleeping. She listened to the CD's consistently for about a week. I am not sure if she is listening to them everyday at this point but I will ask her today.

Her riding abilities have improved so much in the last weeks it is almost unbelievable. She has gone from fifth place starts at the OK State MX races where she would come to the truck mad because she could not pass the girls ahead of her. This last weekend she competed at River Valley MX in Watts OK that is one of the stops on the OSCS calendar. She pulled the hole-shot on the first moto and led the race until the last turn where she was passed and got second by less then one foot. Second moto was fifth place start. By the third turn she was in second place. When they came out of the back section of the track she was out front and led the entire race until the last lap where she again bobbled and finished second by about fifty feet.

She is training hard in the gym everyday and the riding has become practice that focuses on what Chad Cook and Shannon Niday have taught her recently. Her confidence is the difference right now. She is starting to believe she can win against theseKacey_Best_Head_Shot girls and it is showing on the track.

She raced at Anadarko for the Ponca City Qualifers where she pulled the holeshot every moto and won all four of them.

Thank you so much for your help. I am still impressed by the session you had with her.

When can we get her back in to see you?

Gene Thomas - Norman, Oklahoma

Important notice:  While EFT has produced remarkable clinical results, it must still be considered to be in the experimental stage and thus practitioners and the public must take complete responsibility for their use of it. EFT is still in its infancy and we have much to learn about its inner workings.  In the meantime, it has been made into a user-friendly procedure so you can try it yourself.  Please know, though, that some people's emotional and/or physical issues are such that they shouldn't try ANY such procedure without the presence and guidance of a qualified health professional.

It is not claim that EFT is a substitute for drugs, surgeries, radiation or other conventional medical interventions, and we encourage you to get regular medical exams and talk to your doctor or other health professionals about what treatments are best for you.   Always use EFT with common sense and don't go where you aren't qualified.

Further, Jack Rhodes is not a licensed psychologist or a licensed health professional and offers EFT as an ordained minister and as a personal performance coach. Please consult qualified health practitioners regarding your use of EFT.

Jack Rhodes’ Motocross Mind Magic Training TM

Do you really want to be the best that you can be?

It’s far higher than you think and I can help get you there!

I know the sport of motocross inside and out. I know the mental and emotional problems that the riders have and I know how to fix them. I’ve been in motocross since Edison Dye first brought the sport to the US in the 1960s. As a matter of fact, I rode in a motocross race toward the end of my racing career in 1965. In 1966 I began announcing motocross along with most other types of motorcycle racing and I’ve been doing that ever since.
